"And the King (Jesus) will say, 'I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!'

Matthew 25:40 (NLT)

"Seeing our homeschool friends now on a looonng missions trip to help others is exciting...even though I miss them braiding our HAIR!! Sigh….

God helps us to do the work Jesus sent us all to do... to rescue those in need. He can bring out our best….

I am so thankful for God’s Grace!

I wrote a bit more about my twins’ godparents on our blog ChristianChildren.info

To find out more about this child’s rescue see Marj’s blog Homeschooling With a Mission 2011

To further study the verse for today please see it in context…

From Bible Gateway (NIV)

When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32

All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd

separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your

inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.

35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink,

I was a stranger and you invited me in,

36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after

me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?

38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?

39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Wow! This picture is straight out of National Geographic! What a moment...This seems to be one of the moments we all desire to experience at least once in our lives. What an awesome opportunity to KNOW that you were used as God's arms to embrace and care for one of His blessed needy children. And, this little girl's angel has a look on his face that says that NOTHING will keep him from fulfilling his part God's plan for this little girl. I pray God's abundant blessings over this family as they seek His face, follow His voice and continue to be living expressions of Christ's love! Thanks for sharing this awesome story!
