TT - Operation Christmas Child – Collection Week November 15-22

Truly this is a season to be thankful for everything God has done for us=)

Here the testimony of a girls life who life was changed forever by Operation Christmas Child….She is expressing her gratitude in this clip

It is a wonderful program where you pack a shoebox FULL of fun items like toys and supplies like soap and you drop them off at a local collection center to be shipped of with thousands or other boxes to join the millions distributed around the WORLD.

The kids love it and it helps them FEEL like they are making a difference for those kids who may be less fortunate than they are.

There is a specific list of directions on the Samaritan's Purse Website…plus locations information. It’s ALL there…

1. SHOE BOX

Instructions and labels:

Use an empty shoe box (standard size, please) or a small plastic container. You can wrap the box (lid separately), but wrapping is not required. Most importantly, pray for the child who will receive your gift.

2. CHOOSE BOY OR GIRL?

Determine whether your gift will be for a boy or a girl, and the child’s age category: 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14. Print out the appropriate boy/girl label by downloading the artwork to the right. Mark the correct age category on the label, and tape the label to the top of your box.
