OK It is Time for Nanowrimo.org For All Those Couch and LapTop Writers
This writing program began on MONDAY, November 1st………..AHHH
To all my writing friends there is still time to jump on board………..
Nanowrimo.org for The Kids Writing Class
The kids have been gearing up all school year with their class and it is ALL I hear about! I keep trying to explain that “THERE ARE OTHER SUBJECTS” that are important…LOL
They seem to be enjoying the prep process so we will see how it goes!!
Nanowrimo.org for Parents Too???

Several of the parents and teachers from our homeschool co-op were “encouraged” to empathetically
EMBRACE the process our students were going thru
soooooooooooo I will try in my space of time…ha ha to type SOMETHING in.
Nanowrino’s goal of 50,000 words to be ALL written in the MONTH of November is a lot for a mom with 6 kids
in the middle of the homeschool year ….so that part we will see about.
I am still trying to hone in my “plot” .
My oldest dd who roped me into all this is encouraging me or bombarding me I should say with plot ideas…she BREATHES this stuff it seems…SHE IS THE ONE who roped me into this…
REALLY FUNNY VIDEO CLIP ABOUT NANOWRIMO
Here are some News Clips to EXPLAIN the program in case you are considering JOINING Nanowrimo:
Wired UK "National Novel Writing Month, online at NaNoWriMo, is a non-profit 'literary crusade', whose mission it is to see aspiring writers turn into perspiring writers, as they work at a furious pace to hit the deliberately tight deadline." (10/08)
Writer's Digest "NaNoWriMo is a lot like a literary marathon. Folks from all walks of life come together and dedicate a substantial part of their year to doing something wonderful, tiring and a little bit stupid." (09/09)
THIS NEXT QUOTE IS MOST HELPFUL and ENCOURAGING!:
New York Times The secret to writing a novel in a month is just to do it — and it’s a good idea to accept from the start that, barring miracles, it will be very, very bad. 11/06 Portland Mercury "November is National Novel Writing Month" 10/05
