Teething 5mo baby?

I have been kinda bummed as my dd has been whining and clingy lately...it is something else when babies are sick. i remember when my oldest had her first cold and it felt like it broke my heart. Meanwhile it was a simple cold. Now I don't fall apart anymore.. ha,ha but it is still a concern when a baby is whining....we usually call her giggles but she only giggle a little today.

I googled teething because I wasn't sure how soon babies teeth.

The funny part is that my son drools twice as much as she but but he whined much much less...


Although I have done this baby thing this several times before I just couldn't remember the details. The other day, I asked my friend who has LOTS of kids and she couldn't remember either SOOO I don't feel bad!

I went to What to Expect the First Year to figure out some tips to handle and help my dd. When skimming I found out that babies can teeth even BEFORE 5 Mos old so it could be the main source of her grief....

Then I tried the Baby Anbesol and some hugs, prayers, kisses,formula,nursing....everything!!!

She finally settled to stay asleep a bit ago, Praise God!  I will keep watch. I planned to go back to a twins yard sale I visited yesterday to pick up a few more sleepers and toys (great deals!) but with all the whining and such I will lay low and keep an eye out.
