WONDERFUL SILENCE

Well it is 5am-ish again and I am up with a twin since 3:30am......not that he hasn't sept for a few minutes but I didn't snatch any zzzzzzz fast enough since I decided to "catchup" on things.....

More than that.... there is a richness to the silence that is a side blessing of having babes in the house. It is a priceless time when no one is calling u, everything is still, the daily hub is silenced....it seems like the Lord is there to speak to moms who may be too busy or swamped to "hear" in the daytime with the toodlers CONSTANTLY talking about trivia...teens...well just talking about wheatever.... and helping the younger ones with homework....

THE TRICK

The TRICK is....do I stay up while my little guy sleeps on my lap and get some sleep till I am awaked by his sister who has slept all nite so far and may wake up grinning? "Giggles like to grin and chat at odd times. ha,ha OR do I stay up and enjoy the RICH SILENCE that seems priceless to me....and possible pay the price as I DRAAAAAAAG tommorow.

GRACE

Sometimes God gives moms and dads EXTRA grace to function even when they haven't had much sleep at all! I am convinced of this escecially for my dh who brings me babies at nite sometimes to nurse as I half doze....then he gets up early to work! God bless him.....

Uh oh the lil guy isn't settling, I guess I should lay him down....
